UPDATE 4/24/08
Hi all,
I am please to announce that Gypsy is out of the
hospital and in a recovery home. At this time we are not disclosing her
where abouts for her safety.
She is doing wonderful and is expected to have a full
recovery. I was able to see her post-op x-rays and oh man she has a lot of
metal now. They used a plate in both legs to hold the fracture together and
then used screws to hold the plate in place. Finally they had to use rods
to make sure that nothing moves and causes any problems while healing.
Instead of the two fractures that we were aware of
she actually had three. The three fractures were; fractured Radius, fractured Ulna and fractured Tibia. All were
able to be fixed.
Gypsy's recovery should be fairly short term. At 6
weeks she has to go back for more post-op x-rays and should be around 2-4
months total heal time.
Are objective now for Gypsy is to let
her be in a relaxed environment so that she may recover. After that we
will find her a wonderful for-ever home.
Thanks all who helped along
the way, with out you this could not have been done.
Best
Trish DeVall

URGENT
4/19/08 Breaking story
about Gypsy.
This girl was lost for two days and
hit by a car.
She just had 10 pups two weeks ago.
We contacted her owner who claims to
do good by training services dogs for disabled Vet's. In this case and
several before this guy has been a huge let down and compulsive liarar.
We are trying our hardest to find the
new born pups,
but have had no luck. This man went to
the vets office
where his poor dog lay in tremendous
pain and
he says he can't take her becuse of the bill.
Prior to him going there he said that
his 'foundation'
would be able to pay for the bill.
Gypsy is now stranded at the vets
office with two
broken legs that both need surgery.
She has two compound fractures in both
left legs.
We are now collecting tax-dedutable
donations to help this poor sweet girl out.
With your help and prayers we will be
able to make this happen.
